Just before the commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Louis Féraud’s disappearance, Féraud supports the associations Les Marguerites and France Alzheimer.


To wrestle with the disease which is became today a Grand National Cause, Féraud engages with the artists group Les Marguerites and France Alzheimer in the promotion of the track and the CD J’y étais pas (I wasn’t there).


The past 21st of September, at the occasion of the worldwide journey of Alzheimer disease, and with the crucial support of the national union of French Alzheimer associations, the prime minister characterised the Alzheimer disease as a ‘Grand National Cause’.


The year 2008 will be the exceptional occasion to inform people and public authorities. The national union of French Alzheimer Associations, the 105 departmental associations and the Group Les Marguerites join their strengths for a national campaign against the disease. Féraud will be a relay of this fight.


It’s precisely the goal of the group Les Marguerites, encouraged by singers Cédric Barré and Thierry Cadet. Cédric Barré decides to use the song J’y étais pas, in order to launch a charity project. Together in a perfect harmony for this common cause, the two artists contact independent artists to record this song. Twenty three play the game. Les Marguerites were born.


Each Artists is volunteer on this project, every benefits of the CD, will be transfer to the association France Alzheimer, creating thus, the first real solidarity movement initiated by independent artists.
